A place for everything. Put all your related content into a single kablink file folder. Or multiple folders. There’s no duplication because the file actually resides in only one place, in kablink, on a WebDAV server, or on your own PC.
Folders
If you spot an iceberg, you’re only seeing about a fifth of what’s really there. Think of kablink as what’s below the water. As you create and collaborate, kablink brings the content of folders up to the surface just when you need it.
kablink folders are much more than buckets … they are smart buckets. When you create a new folder, kablink provides unique capabilities to suit its contents: blogs, discussions, calendars, guestbooks, files, milestones, photos, surveys, tasks, wikis.
Folder views
You have the option of viewing entries in different ways:
- View a wiki as a blog to present entries in reverse chronological order.
- See open tasks in a calendar.
- Get snippets of any entry’s contents in a list view.
Folder Filters
- You can create your own filters so you can view only those entries that meet your criteria
- To create a new filter, give it a name and specify any combination of author, tag, workflow, type of entry, most recent activity, and creation or modification date.
Teams
- You can specify the people or groups who can participate with you in a folder – your team – without going to an administrator. And, you can communicate with your team via email or a real-time voice and web conference with just a couple of clicks.
Folder Tags
Tags allow kablink users to create connections across projects and teams, maximizing the effectiveness of the social network. For example:
- There may be whitepapers on a particular topic in folders throughout kablink. Tagging makes it possible to call them all up by topic, regardless of where they reside.
- In the same way, you can tag blogs, wikis, files, photos, and discussions to provide fodder for efforts such as positioning, PR, or a user conference.
- kablink allows users to create tags for both personal and community use.
Subscriptions
- Subscribe through email or RSS feeds, selecting the frequency of deliveries to suit your preferences.
